Day 1 :   Tbilisi

  • Meeting at Tbilisi international airport of Georgia

Day 2 :  Tbilisi (Narikala fortress / Holy Trinity Cathedral / Anchiskhati Church / Sioni Cathedral / Metekhi church / Turtle Lake and open air museum of Ethnography / Tbilisi Botanical Garden)

  • Firstly, Departure to visit Narikala Fortress – one of the most ancient fortresses in Georgia.
  • In addition, it overlooks the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi.
  • After Narikala you will visit the Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi, also known as “Sameba”.
  • It was built in 1995-2004. It is the 3rd tallest eastern orthodox cathedral in the world.
  • Lunch in a typical restaurant in city center
  • After lunch, you will visit Anchiskhati Church, oldest surviving church in Tbilisi. The church was built by the King Dachi in 6th century AD.
  • Following of our trip,In the afternoon, visit the Sioni Cathedral, situated in the historic “SionisKucha”. Sioni Cathedral was the main Georgian cathedral until the Georgian Government has completed the cathedral of Sameba in 2004.

Visiting Metekhi church :

  • Metekhi church-is situated on the elevated rock and overlooks the River “Mtkvari”.

  • Firstly,Departure for Borjomi, which is located at the confluence of three rivers- Mtkvari, Borjomula and Gujaretistskali.
